Like Cliff Burton—Metallica's bassist, who composed "Orion," a song included on their 1986 album "Master of Puppets"—I've always been drawn to the cosmos, space, the ancient world, and mythology. Here's a small tribute to all of that.

The famous Orion Correlation Theory suggests that the layout of the three great pyramids at Giza (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure) was deliberately designed to mirror the exact arrangement of Orion’s Belt (Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka), acting as a physical gateway to the heavens.

SIPA.ZI.AN.NA, is the name the Babylonians gave to Orion, meaning the “True Shepherd of Anu”, referring to the Sumerian attendant deity Ninshubur, who served as a messenger to Anu, the god of the sky, and supreme ruler of heaven.
